Massie has a dog. Okay, thats definately something about her..? "Oh, thats..Cool." Maybe that meant she was a dog person, which was good because Demo liked dogs. His parents wouldn't let him have one because they shedded everywhere and they were a pain because you had to take them out a lot during the day for their breaks. Still Demo wanted a dog and wished he could somehow convince them that he would be the one taking care of it, not them. They wouldn't have to worry about all of the messes the dog would make or have to take care of it at all.. And Demo had said this about a million times to his parents but it never seemed to get through to them. Why am I babbling on about that? "I like dogs, I'm going to buy a beagle once I move out on my own." Demo said, nodding. God, he was doing so good with the not-nodding thing. But he had done something to jynx it. Crap. "Um..Theres really not much to say about me." Demo said after a moment in thought. What was there to say? "I write poems..And I love coffee, I never leave the house in the morning without it. Um, my parents are divorced, I don't watch a lot of tv, I want to go to London some day.. I read a lot of books, some could say I'm a hopeless romantic, I'm horrible with computers, I've never been camping, ummm... I don't know." Well now that a total stranger knew some of the things he had never told some of his closest friends, Demo felt kind of weird. Like he was naked in front of a crowd of strange people or something.. A sort of bad feeling in his opinion.

"Aw! How cute. I love beagles. They look so cute. But mine isnt a beagle unfortunatly." She said, not sad that it wasnt, she loved Bean. Of coarse she would never regret anything about him. She was glad that they had found something in common though. They both liked dogs, that was definetly a start at least. "Wow..." She said, somewhat shocked at what he had said next. that was alot to say to someone that he had just met. But maybe he was just that kind of person? But of coarse she wouldnt tell anyone or anything like that, she actually kind of liked that he could open up to her and tell her things. It just made them all the more closer in there friendship. At least...she thought that they had a friendship. She hoped so anyway. She liked this guy. He was sweet, and funny, and seemed to always know what to say. For how mysterious he seemed though, he had just told her alot. "I like coffee too, and i like to read sometimes too. I do like computers though." She laughed. She didnt think that she could live without her computer. And she did like to read, she liked romantic novels. And every once in a while she liked to read comical books too. But mostly love storied. Almost no one knew that she liked to read though, but she knew that she could trust him. She hoped...

"You're going to have to show me your dog someday." Demo replied with a smile, knowing now that hers wasn't a beagle but that was still okay. Massie seemed like a person who liked small dogs, but Demo couldn't tell if she was a Paris-Hilton-my-dog-is-suffocating-in-my-big-purse type of person, or one of those people with a small dog and a cute little outfit for every day of the week. Girls seemed to do that type of thing a lot and either way Demo would probably dissaprove. Maybe Massie was just a normal teenager with a dog..And there was no mystery behind it.. "Yeah..I know." Demo added to her 'wow' comment, if you could call it one. He was actually kind of afraid of what she would say next. I mean, think about it. This is the first tiime he had said that much personal stuff about himself to anyone before, and Demo was almost positive that she would just run away from him at that very moment. Its not like he could run after her, seeing as he didn't like running and anyways, he didn't want to get lost in the huge city. But instead, she just kind of agreed.. "Strange how we seem to have so much in common; we seem like perfect opposites" its also strange how you didn't just leave me in this god forsaken town to fend for myself right after I poured my guts out to you.. "I'm not all that technically gifted, my dad never approved of that fact. He says that a real man should be able to take apart a phone and put it back together." When Demo had tried this one day, thinking that his dad honestly meant to take a phone apart and put it back together, the thing got broken and many pieces were lost. There goes Demo's first phone, eh?

She giggled her silly little giggled. She hadnt laughed like that in a while, not since she last talked to derrington...She cut her thoughts off about him right now. Right now she was with another guy, a nice guy, one that didnt lead her on or anything like that.
She liked that they had things in common. It made them feel more...together...but not in a way that they were together, just more closer as friends. And she liked that. She liked how she could feel and be herself around him. She could never feel that way around dylan, or alicia or kristen. And especially not Derrington. And she liked that she could be herself around him.
"Yeah, we do have alot in common."
She responded. She nodded her head while he was talking about his techinical problems. ((lol)). and she smiled when he stopped talking. He made her laugh. Not many guys, or people in general could do that besides her close friends. And she had only just met this guy.
"Do you want to go get a latte or something?"
She asked as they approached her favorite coffee place in the world. Starbucks. She looked over to him and waited to see what he would say. ((Sorry it took me so long!!! O.o))

OOC__________ Meh, thats okay. Demo knew they had a lot in common, which he found strange since seldom did he have anything in common with anyone. He was one of those people who were a bit on the individual side, yet he wasn't so out there that everyone thought he was strange. Demo felt as though he didn't belong some places, even in this era. Somehow he sometimes thought that he was really supposed to have been born sometime in the 70's instead of ending up in the 21st century with annoying teenagers and iPODS. "A latte? No. A frappichino? Yes." Demo didn't really like lattes after he had tried some of his moms a lonnnnnnnnng time ago. Even if they had made drastic changes to the lattes over the years, Demo still didn't like them after just that one sip of his mothers. You would think that he would take a risk and try it again, but no. Once he thought he didn't like something, Demo didn't like it for life, not just two days before deciding that he wanted to try it again. "Where would we go to get it? Never mind." His question was answered as they were nearing Starbucks. Demo loved Starbucks, if he had a choice he would probably live there just so he could wake up in the morning and have the best caffine on earth right there at his fingertips. Maybe there was some room under the floorboards for him in this specific Starbucks..? Demo wondered if Massie was beginning to like him at all, he had a strange nagging feeling in his stomach that wanted to know the answer to that one question. Lots of girls had liked him before when he didn't like them, and it always seemed to be that he liked someone who was completely out of reach. I bet she has a boyfriend or something, the nagging thing in Demo's stomach seemed to say. He felt like punching himself in the stomach, why would anyone want to hear that type of comment coming from their stomach anyways? Gosh.

A slight smile appeared across massies fine lip-glossed lips. She glanced over at Demo, but then quickly glanced away thinking that he might look over at her and see her staring at him. It was hard to pull away, but she did. There was just something about him that made her never want to take her eyes off of him. She kept the smile on and kept walking until they were in front of the starbucks. She looked up at the huge sign and the big, wide double doors. Such a naturally beautiful place. Her friends and her spent so many hours here just gossiping away.
"Ok, frappichino it is then."
She actually hated frappichino's, but for him, she was willing to try another one. What could it hurt?
She suddenly stopped dead in her tracks. She saw derrington inside and some of his soccer buddies. She could feel her face going pale. She looked away so he couldnt see her like that if he looked back and she wuickly pinched her cheeks a little to add some color back.
"Um, Demo, why dont we, um..."
She couldnt think of anything to cover this up. She had to think fast. This would not look good. And she didnt know which relationship she wanted to mess up. In the end, someone was gettign hurt. And it could possibly be her.
"Why dont we go to... uh, the, um, my house."
She wished she could take it back as soon as she said it. It sounded too premiscuous. or did it? i mean. they just met. they were just friends right? Yeah. right. she was right. she was always right. right? Oh she had no idea. She just sighed, then took a deep breath and stayed turned away from him and the big window that looked out on them from inside. Derrington sitting in the window seat. Just her luck. She hoped that Demo wouldnt hate her now and ditch her for not getting a frappacino.

As they arrived at the window of the Starbucks, Demo noticed Massie suddenly becoming a bit... Fishlike, I guess you could say. Well she definately wasn't acting like she was less than seven minutes earlier, maybe she just didn't really like Starbucks. Demo didn't understand how anyone could not like the place though, it was warm and cozy during the winter and cooled off in the summer, and if you wore shorts on the leather seats you got stuck to it. And the prices weren't too bad, either. Demo could get a vanilla frappichno for under two dollars. Can anyone here say bargain? Demo wanted to ask her what the deal was but he wasn't really one to press into peoples personal problems. Because it definately looked like Massie was having one at the moment. Looking in through the window, Demo wondered if maybe the problem was in there- someone wasn't matching in there or the walls were to horrible of a color to actually stomach. But all he saw was a normal Starbucks crowd, some jr. high boys, a few girl customers, an old lady cowering in the corner, Starbucks waitresses.. Everything checked out to him, but maybe there was just something that he was missing..? "To your house?" Demo repeated, like some type of stupid parrot or something. He didn't even know the girl's last name yet and already she was inviting him to her house? Now Dems KNEW that something was up. I mean, hes attractive and all [hahha] but hes not THAT attractive. And anyways, what was there to do at a girls house? "If you really want to.." Demo said, stopping himself from saying 'anything I do with you would be perfect to me'. I mean, how corny would that sound man? "Lets hit it then." Demo had really wanted that frappichino, but guessed that it could wait for a while. Maybe once he was done at Massie's house he could walk over here and get it by himself. Sure the amazing company wouldn't be there anymore, but that was alright.

((sorry, i dont have much time anymore to get on as much as i did. i will try to get on as much as i can though. sorry. )) Massie finally turned around to look him in the face again, not even glancing at the big window between her and her complicated boy that was a friend...right? thats all he was. yes. thats all. its his fault he wasnt in Demos spot right now, not hers. She straightned up taller and felt alot better now. She pulled her purse up onto her shoulder and flipped her hair behind her shoulder. she glanced over at demo and smiled. "Alright, lets." She started to walk the other way down the sidewalk towards her house. She looked back to see if he was following. ((eh, sorry, no muse. O.o))
